With the holidays fast approaching, we wanted to give you an opportunity to learn about Diva's Fair Trade, a local organization that has worked with MINN in the past, while also allowing you some time to shop for holiday gifts from an amazing fair trade shop.
Join MINN for a Talk and Tour of COFHED to get an in-depth look at the organization in a small group setting. COFHED is a Haitian-led organization that fosters local education, leadership and mobilization so that rural citizens sustainably transform their communities. The agenda includes an overview of the organization’s cutting-edge participatory engagement approach and an interactive activity to help you envision what long-term sustainable change could look like.
Join the fun at Day Block Brewing Company as MINN partners with Global Minnesota in rebooting their young professionals networking series. Try your hand at international-themed trivia, network with others interested in what’s happening in the world, and enjoy a pint on us. Build a team with friends and colleagues or join one that evening. Registration is 10$ and includes one drink ticket and appetizers, including Day Block’s made-from-scratch specialty pizza.
Join us for a fun social/networking event open to all graduate level students at local universities/ colleges, whom are interested in international work. We're inviting current students in international development, public health, social work, nonprofit management, human rights, public policy programs (and others!) to meet for a couple hours of great beer and great conversation. This is a networking opportunity to meet other students with similar goals and interests
