Md Kamruzzaman is a public policy professional and career civil servant currently pursuing a Master of Public Policy at the University of Minnesota’s Humphrey School of Public Affairs. With over a decade of experience in the Bangladesh Civil Service, he has served in diverse administrative and leadership roles, including Senior Assistant Secretary at the Ministry of Science & Technology and as Chief Executive Officer (Upazila Nirbahi Officer) in Gaibandha District. His work has focused on public administration, governance innovation, digital transformation, and community development—overseeing programs in disaster management, COVID-19 vaccination, and housing for the homeless. Beyond government service, he has engaged in research, volunteerism, and cross-cultural initiatives, fostering global awareness and cross-cultural collaboration. Kamruzzaman is passionate about good governance, innovation in public administration, and evidence-based policymaking. He aims to combine his leadership experience and policy expertise to strengthen institutions and promote inclusive development both in Bangladesh and internationally.
