Sub-Saharan Africa

Mission statement:
Iringa Hope works to alleviate the poverty of rural Iringa, Tanzania. We do this through education and training, access to credit through micro finance cooperatives (SACCOS), and access to agricultural supplies and markets through local farmer's cooperatives (AMCOS).
Mission statement:
We transform the lives of sponsored children through education and mentoring, preparing them to be leaders of the future. HMCHA works in a destitute rural area of Ethiopia which has no electricity or running water and few roads. The Oromo people who live in these villages have asked for our help to improve their lives.
Mission statement:
HealthPartners International Development builds the capacity of local actors to start and manage their own health cooperatives, expanding access to affordable, quality health care. Because cooperatives are owned, financed and managed by their members, the model is directly responsive to their needs and financially sustainable.
Mission statement:
Give Us Wings encourages, supports and partners with people living in extreme poverty in Uganda as they transform their lives and become self-sufficient through greater access to quality health care, education and economic opportunities.
Mission statement:
From Mother to You is an organization that aims to support and empower antenatal mothers with maternal education and resources. Our goal is to supply hospitals and clinics in areas with high maternal and infant mortality rates with life-saving medical supplies to better public health.
