The Minnesota International NGO Network (MINN) is excited to announce that it is expanding its board to include up to four new individuals who will bring a variety of nonprofit skills and international experiences to the table.  With our new 501(C)(3) status, we are looking to further build the organization and its structure to fully achieve our vision of being the leader in providing a collaborative environment for Minnesota-based international NGOs to learn and exchange ideas.

On Wednesday, June 15, 2011, the Minnesota International NGO Network (MINN), in collaboration with the U.S. State Department, hosted a sold-out panel discussion with international and Minnesota-based activists on new media and social change.  The event, titled “Innovative Strategies for New Media in Civil Society and Human Rights Advocacy”, was held at the Millennium Hotel in downtown Minneapolis.

MINN is Changing our Name

You may have noticed that after five years as the Midwest International NGO Network (MINN), we have changed our name to the Minnesota International NGO Network (MINN).  This change was made to more accurately reflect the focus and strength of our network, as we pursue a nonprofit IRS registry as a 501 (c) 3.
