New Opportunity: MINN Communications Co-Chair

We are looking for a Communications Co-Chair to help us do global good, better. This is a new role that will support MINN's communications vision.

Responsibilities: Supports Communications Manager in forming and executing MINN’s communication strategy, creates visual and written content for MINN’s channels, including social media, newsletter, website, and press releases

Key Skills: Familiarity with Canva and MailChimp or similar programs; familiarity with Content Management Systems such as Sitecore, WordPress, or Drupal; proven social media experience; exceptional writing and interpersonal communication skills; ability to work both independently and as part of a team; ability to think creatively & critically; international development experience preferred.

General Requirements: All Co-Chairs will be expected to commit to a year's term and to attend monthly committee meetings, which take place on the third Thursday evening of each month. Co-Chairs can expect to spend about 5-10 hours volunteering each month. Co-Chairs will work closely with and report to the MINN Communications Manager. Co-Chair positions are for a one-year term with consideration for renewal on an annual basis.

Benefits: All Co-Chairs receive a complimentary MINN membership as well as opportunities to network and work closely with, and receive support from, MINN Board Members. Co-Chairs are well-placed to apply as MINN Board Members in the future if they are interested. Co-Chairs also have the chance to benefit from MINN's network and connections and build their understanding of the international development community in Minnesota.
