MINN Event: Tanzania Roundtable
On November 7th, Tanzania-affiliated organizations, funders and academics from around Minnesota convened at the Wellstone Center to begin an important dialogue - how to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of their work. As part of this day-long conference, attendees took part in sector-based discussions around best practices, challenges, and opportunities for collaboration in their work. After these discussions, there was a clear desire to continue the dialogue.
On February 28, MINN re-convened the agriculture practitioners, as a pilot for continued discussions in this and potentially in other sectors. Facilitated by Michael Parr of Land O'Lakes International Development, the group discussed a variety of topics including engaging the local government in NGO work and involving women agricultural development activities.
