Nancy Lindborg, USAID

Few people have their finger more firmly on the pulse of international development than Nancy Lindborg—Assistant Administrator for the Bureau for Democracy, Governance and Humanitarian Assistance at USAID. Over the course of her distinguished career—which includes serving as President of Mercy Corps—Lindborg has developed a keen understanding of the world’s development “hot spots”—places like Syria, Yemen, South Sudan, Burma, Kenya, northern Mali, the Horn of Africa, and the Sahel.

Whether she’s responding to acute and critical crises, providing resilience to places coming out protracted conflict, or encouraging forward momentum in areas that are witnessing opportunity and real progress, Lindborg has tackled a development challenges on all sides of the fence.

MINN is honored to have Lindborg share her thoughts and reflections with us on October 25th, 2013 from 9:00 a.m. to 10 a.m. in Schulze Auditorium!
