Tuesday, September 24, 2019 - 6:00pm to 8:00pm

Join the Minnesota International NGO Network (MINN) and the Minnesota Public Health Association (MPHA) for a Talk and Tour of the Alliance Wellness Center at their offices in Bloomington to get an in-depth look at the organization in a small group setting. The agenda will focus on all aspects of the center, where Minnesotans of East African descent can get help overcoming addiction.

Alliance Wellness Center is a trusted addiction treatment center that offers multicultural services delivered by a qualified staff with a focus on mental health issues and addiction. Issues of substance abuse and mental health services for Minnesotans of Somali and other East African descent will be addressed in depth.

This Talk and Tour event is an opportunity for MINN and MPHA members to gain first-hand knowledge of the workings of innovative community and international health organizations in the state. The Talk and Tour agenda is simple. Employees of an organization offer a private tour of their facility and then field questions about their organization’s work and their office culture. While these forums are a minimal fee and open to MINN and MPHA Members, space is limited, and registration is required. Please consider joining the hundreds of international professionals who already have a MINN membership or local, or joining community based professionals in becoming a member of MPHA. If you have questions regarding your membership write us at in membership@minnesotangos.org or membership@mpha.org

NETWORKING OPPORTUNITY: There will be a networking opportunity following the Talk and Tour at a nearby restaurant/bar (we’ll find someplace nearby which will be easy for folks to get to). The gathering is open to all who would like to network with the MINN or MPHA members along with the Alliance Wellness Center staff!

WAITLIST: If this event is filled please sign up for the waitlist as we often ask waitlisted people to attend closer to the event.
