MINN is partnering with Feed My Starving Children for two events this month! Please join us for one or both great events!

Talk & Tour with Feed My Starving Children
Thursday, April 13th

Join MINN for a Talk and Tour of Feed My Starving Children to get an in-depth look at the organization in a small group setting. The agenda includes an overview of the organization by Barb Shimshock, Development Director, and a private tour of their international headquarter office. Space is limited, RSVP here!

Founded in Minnesota in 1987, Feed My Starving Children (FMSC) is a Christian non-profit that provides nutritionally complete meals specifically formulated for malnourished children. Their process is simple. Donations given by people just like you fund the meal ingredients. Volunteers hand-pack the meals. Meals are donated to FMSC food partners around the world, where kids are fed and lives are saved!

There will be a networking opportunity following the Talk and Tour at the Muddy Cow starting at 7pm. The Muddy Cow event is open to all who would like to network with the MINN community and FMSC staff!

Volunteer with MINN at Feed My Starving Children
Wednesday, April 26th

Feed My Starving Children needs your help as they respond to the hunger crisis affecting East Africa, as well as continued need in Haiti from Hurricane Matthew. They plan to immediately pack and ship at least 10 million additional meals requested by partner organizations working in Somalia and Haiti. Thousands of FMSC MannaPackā„¢ meals have recently been sent, but the need continues to rise. Volunteers will hand-pack rice, soy, dried vegetables and a nutritionally complete blend of vitamins and minerals into bags which are then sealed, boxed, placed on pallets and shipped to the neediest children around the world.

Join MINN on Wednesday, April 26th for a group volunteer opportunity at Feed My Starving Children at their Coon Rapids site. Pack MannaPackā„¢ meals, learn more about a locally based international NGO, and network with MINN community members! We'd love for you to bring your partner, children or friends to volunteer with us (volunteers can be as young as 5)! Space is limited, RSVP here.
