About this event
MINN's quarterly Executive Roundtables bring together executive or mid-level nonprofit leaders to share successes and find solutions to common problems.
Mary's Pence envisions a world where empowered women and their communities flourish in solidarity and justice. It invests in women across the Americas by funding community initiatives and fostering collaborations to create social change.
We'll hear from three Mary's Pence staff about working locally and in solidarity with women in Central America and Mexico.
Gilda Larios is the ESPERA Program Lead. She has a background in social work and has worked with rural women from Central America for many years. During the 80s and 90s she worked with people fleeing the armed conflicts in Central America. Gilda works from her home in Mexico City.
Eva Martinez Menjivar has worked with ESPERA for 10 years, supporting women’s groups in El Salvador and Honduras, supporting leadership development and organizational effectiveness. Eva has a degree in nursing. She lives and works in Suchitoto, El Salvador.
Brenda Valladares Escobar supports women and their economic initiatives. She has a Bachelors in marketing and a Masters in Gender Studies. Brenda has experience developing business workshops for women, as well as identifying and tracking indicators of success. She works from Suchitoto, El Salvador.
