The Humphrey School of Public Affairs, through its International Fellowship Programs office and a generous grant from the McKnight Foundation, is pleased to announce fellowship opportunities for local residents to attend the Salzburg Global Seminar (SGS). Limited grants providing a full or partial scholarship to the seminar are available based on certain eligibility criteria.
On October 10, 2011 Medical Teams International held a forum on long-term humanitarian aid in Libya. Joining Medical Teams International President Bas Vanderzalm on the stage were Jamal Tarhuni, a Libyan-American businessman and volunteer with Medical Teams International, and US Representative Keith Ellison. Since the war began in Libya, Medical Teams International has worked closely with the Libyan-American communities in Minnesota and throughout the US to meet health needs inside Libya.
The Minnesota International NGO Network (MINN) is excited to announce that it is expanding its board to include up to four new individuals who will bring a variety of nonprofit skills and international experiences to the table. With our new 501(C)(3) status, we are looking to further build the organization and its structure to fully achieve our vision of being the leader in providing a collaborative environment for Minnesota-based international NGOs to learn and exchange ideas.
