MINN IDEA Summit - Friday, October 16, 2015

Over 210 people attended this year's MINN IDEA Summit on October 16th. Vice President Walter Mondale and Dr. MayKao Hang, CEO and President of the Wilder Foundation, shared their thoughts on immigration, refugees, and Minnesota's role in these arenas, all around this year's theme of Fostering Minnesota's Global Engagement.

Throughout the day, participants had the chance to hear from 21 speakers in 14 sessions on topics ranging from evaluating projects in complex situations to climate change in the Northern Philippines. We also heard from the founder of The Indika Alliance, Denise D'Rozario, and the work she is doing in India.

This year also marked the second year the IDEASummit was hosted by the Humphrey School of Public Affairs, one of the top-rated public policy schools in the nation and a fitting setting for a day of collaboration and learning.

Thanks to all who participated and we are already looking forward to the 2016 MINN IDEA Summit!
